Simplicity in Christ
This message calls us back to the pure, simple faith that Jesus taught. The church has often turned into a business focused on personalities, platforms, and formulas, losing sight of its true mission: proclaiming Jesus and revealing His Kingdom through obedience.
Paul warned the Corinthians not to be led astray from “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Cor. 11:3–4). God is shaking His Church to remove what can be shaken—man-made systems and compromises, so that only what cannot be shaken remains: Truth, Love, Faith, and Freedom (Heb. 12:27–29).
Many churches have replaced prayer and dependence on Jesus with human methods, but God wants us to return to simple trust in His power to heal, deliver, and save. Jesus is knocking on the door of His Church (Rev. 3:20), wanting to be the center again.
Jesus trained and sent out simple believers (Luke 10) who just obeyed and saw His power. He praised the Father for revealing truth to “infants” instead of the “wise” who complicate things. True faith is childlike trust—pure in heart (Matt. 5:8).
In the end, we don’t need performance or show. We just need to believe God’s Word, move in His Spirit, and give people an encounter with His presence.
Communion followed this call to return to simplicity and devotion to Christ.
